(Lupu Daqiao; 909 Luban Rd; 909 adult/student Y80/40; 8.30am-5pm; Luban Rd, then bus 17, 1 stop) For aerial views of the World Expo grounds or for those seeking to measure the extent of Shanghai’s urban sprawl, climb up to a viewing platform at the apex of the city’s longest suspension bridge. The entrance is located at the end of Luban Rd (under the bridge). It’s one elevator ride and an additional 367 wind-blown steps to the top. If you take a taxi, insist on the address; the bridge is 4km long and the driver will probably have no idea what you are looking for.
