The 798 Art District (大山子艺术区), also known as Dashanzi, sits in northeastern Chaoyang; see. Dashanzi also houses some excellent shops. The nearby No 6 Sichuan Food Studio ( 5978 9623; 4 Jiuxianqiao Lu 酒 仙 桥 路 4 号 大 山 子 艺 术 区; 11am-9pm) is a shrine to fiery Sichuan cuisine beneath a lurid pink statue of Mao Zedong.
