FT03.03 - Identity resolution software

Description	The identity resolution software has the ability to link multiple records of individuals/entities which pertain to a single individual/entity
List of functionalities	FT03.03.01 - Ability to seamlessly integrate with industry leading RDBMS FT03.03.02 - Ability to link multiple records of individuals/entities which pertain to a single individual/entity based on multiple parameters such as Name, Address components, Date of Birth, Identification number, telephone etc. FT03.03.03 - Ability to match records despite variation in spelling FT03.03.04 - Ability to match records despite interchange of data elements FT03.03.05 - Ability to assign weights to the matches in different fields to determine if two records are similar. FT03.03.06 - Ability to confirm the match based on confidence threshold set by the user FT03.03.07 - Ability to compare current record with the existing full database to see if records is already present FT03.03.08 - Ability to merge master records based on confirmation of identities FT03.03.09 - Ability to form groups of related individuals/ entities
Implementation Notes	The identity resolution software can be used for watch list screening i.e. match between the entities in the reports and a pre - defined list of entities. The identity resolution software can be used to form virtual groups containing related individuals/ entities

FD04 – Detection of new targets

Description	FIU may like to have the capability to detect new specific targets (e.g. persons, assets, criminal networks and associations) which have not been detected by the reporting entities.

Notes	Detection of new target is relevant for FIU which receives reports other than suspicious transaction reports (e.g. cash transaction reports). FIU’s capability to detect new target complements and strengthens the alert generation capability of the reporting entities as reporting entity can be informed about failure to detect potential suspicious cases.
