The modern period of development of civilized society characterizes the process of informatization.
Informatization of society - a global social process, which feature is that the dominant activity in the sphere of social production is the collection, storage, production, processing, transference and use of information operations on the basis of modern microprocessor and computer technology as well as based on a variety of means of information exchange.

Informatization of the society provides:

• active use of an ever-widening intellectual potential of society, concentrated in hard Fund, and scientific, industrial and other activities of its members;
• integration of information technology in scientific and production activities, initiating the development of all spheres of social production, better educated labor force;
• a high level of information services, the availability of any member of society to sources of reliable information, the visualization of the information provided, materiality of the data used.

The use of open information systems designed to use the entire array of information available to the society in a particular area makes it possible to improve governance arrangements social system, contributes to the humanization and democratization of society, increases the welfare of its members. The processes occurring in connection with the information society, contribute not only to accelerate scientific and technological progress, intellectualization of all human activity, but also the creation of a qualitatively new information environment of society that aims to develop the creative potential of the individual.
One of the informatization process in modern society is the informatization of education - the process of educational methodology and practice of development and optimal use of modern, or, as they are known, new information technologies aimed at harnessing psycho-pedagogical goals of education, upbringing.
The process of informatization affects the economic sector too. Their radical improvement and adaptation to modern conditions was made possible thanks to the massive use of modern computer and telecommunications equipment, building on its basis high-information-management technologies. Means and methods of applied computer science are used in management and marketing. New technologies based on computer technology, require radical changes in institutional management, its regulation, human capacity, system documentation, recording and transmission of information.
New information technologies will greatly extend the use of information resources in various industries, as well as in education.
