	Our ref. _______ Your ref. ______   11 August 20__ INFRAEQUIPMENT 186-78 Berg Stockholm, Sweden, Dear Mr Krolsten,   Mr Stronsem of Stockholm Export Bank has informed us that your company is looking for a partner to handle an agency dealing with the sales of machine tools from consignment stock.   We are a large manufacturing company specializing in heavy engineering machine tools. We would like to appoint a Consignment Agent in Sweden to act on our behalf selling machine tools and spares of our production.   We are attaching to this letter a list of machine tools, which we believe would be in demand in your country and which we intend to send to you on consignment subject to our working out a corresponding Agency agreement.   We will not restrict the agent by offering a sole agency as we have found that in that case our own sales would be limited, and it is sometimes awkward for the agent himself.   We would also agree to purchase from you certain heavy engineering equipment of Swedish origin equal in value to the sales of our machines from consignment stock. That involves distributing in return as your exclusive Agents specified equipment to an equal value.   Cont.

	Leaflets and brochures will be send to you to hand out to your customers, as one method of advertising, but we will also allow €150,000 in the first year for publicity which can be spent on the type of advertising you think suitable for the above machine-tools. As requested we enclose an endorsed clean Bill of Lading. We have also notified the Customs office of your competence to act as our agents in this matter.   As to despatch, you may recall from our earlier correspondence our intention of depositing the consignment in a bonded warehouse until such time as we found suitable retail outlets. One such outlet has been found and we should be grateful to you if you would forward a consignment of five cartons, carriage forward, to ZAO InterRus, Moscow Devjatinskij per. 12.
