a) Will mankind survive without electricity? No man, living within a civilized society could not survive without electricity. We have seen this in many Hollywood films. As soon as the power is turned off, in big cities begin immediately panic and looting. It is even impossible to pass the intersection, because the traffic lights are not working. But I decided to live without electronics least one day, and that's what happened. Day right not specified. I slept, as not include an alarm clock on my mobile phone. After that I went to the bathroom to wash up, no light of course... He wanted to drink tea to not go to school on an empty stomach. But then I remembered that the kettle runs on electricity. I was lucky that a couple of sandwiches was on the table as a refrigerator also works on electricity. I had a bite and went to school. It all went well, except for the interactive whiteboard and light bulbs. You come home; I decided to warm myself dinner, but I did not have a gas stove. I could not help it warmed up in the microwave. And here comes the worst! What do I do all day long without a computer, mobile phone and TV? I decided to start making lessons, but it does not pick up a lot of my time. Then I decided to read, but it was uploaded to the electronic book. Of course, I was able to get through the day without electricity, but it was extremely easy. Constantly have to remind yourself of that, you do not accidentally "fail the mission." Since I live alone, it was doubly difficult. But I redid the house all you can, perhaps this - it's one of the benefits of life without electricity. Humanity would have been able to live without electricity, but it would mean too many changes, from the way of life and ending with the global changes in the world.

b) That day was like a nightmare, because my friend and I decided to spend it without our gadgets. I woke up very late in the morning, because my mobile phone didn`t ring. At the beginning of the day I couldn`t concentrate on anything. I didn`t listen to music or radio. I just lay on the bed and did nothing. It was boring. The time passed very slowly. But lately I started reading a book. In the evening I went to the cafe with my friends and we spent a wonderful time together. When we left the cafe, we found out that the weather was perfect. The sun was shining and the sky was so blue. One of my friends suggested walking a little. We went to the park, wandered along snowy paths and admired mysterious trees. We returned home rather late in the evening.

And at the end of the day I understood that I so often wasted my time on the mobile phone, the Internet, MP3 player, etс. I realized that I live without gadgets are also possible, though it would be very boring. What would have happened if there were no friends...I realized that if people have taken away their favorite gadgets, they will be agonies as in drug use. And also that day helped me to find more free time and I understood there was another life beyond all the gadgets. And now I am absolutely sure that there is nothing better than face-to-face communication.

Yes, the modern science has reached unprecedented heights in virtually all sectors of its activities. Various scientific invention is found on almost every corner. Now there are many gadgets that greatly simplify the life of modern man.

But every medal has it's reverse. And rapid scientific progress has aroused a number of problems that are a matter of our great concern. These are ecological problems, the safety of nuclear power station, nuclear warthreat, and the responsibility of a scientist (atomic weapon, bomb and warfare). But still we are greatful to the outstanding men of the past and the present who have courage and patience to disclose the secrets of the Universe.

But from that we analyzed the data, and our experiments we can confidently say that the person is very dependent on technological devices. If it suddenly cease to function, most people will not be able to continue to exist. As a result, we concluded that the current The Society is a hostage of technological progress.
