PreRequirements
One phycical or virtual machine
New "Tester" account is created and added to "Administrators" group. All actions are performed under this account (or under other users if it is mentioned in case).
Nothing is done under built-in "Administrator" account!

Prepare machine with next configuration
Disk1 (24GB)
- C: "System" (whole)
Disk2 (24GB)
- K: "NSD" (4GB)
- Unallocated (20GB)
Disk3 (24GB)
- P: "Files" (24GB)

 

Test Case 322457: Deleting slices from image archive (PP/Encryption) placed in local folder
Summary: Deleting slices from image archive with password protection and encryption placed in local folder
PreRequirements: New "Tester" account is created and added to "Administrators" group. All action are performed under this account (or under other users if it is mentioned in case). Nothing is done under build-in "Administrator" account!
Steps:
  • 1. Create image archive (non-system disk) with password protection and encryption F1+I1_1+I1_2+D1_1+F2+D2_1+I2_1
2. Delete D1_1 dif and I2_1 inc slices from image archive
    • Slices successfully deleted
    • Resulted chain = F1+I1_1+I1_2+F2+D2_1
 
  • 3. Restore I1_2 slice
    • I1_2 inc slice successfully restored; restored data are identical to original
 
  • 4. Restore D2_1 slice
    • D2_1 dif slice successfully restored; restored data are identical to original
