Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the color of the stone used exclusively in the walled city, Jaipur bazaars sell embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. Western Rajasthan itself forms a convenient circuit, in the heart of the Thar Desert which has shaped its history, lifestyles and architecture.

AIESEC in JAIPUR

AIESEC Jaipur was established in the year 1995 as an extension of AIESEC in Delhi University and since then the Local Chapter has experienced tremendous growth and development in all aspects, which include Issue-based Projects & Initiatives Leadership Development,Exchanges,Issue-based experiences, Member Development,Conference management

The Local Chapter has evolved from being the youngest LC of AIESEC India to being the LC conducting the maximum number of exchanges globally, having at least a minimum of 30 international interns in the city at any given point of time which has created a beautiful cross-cultural environment for all the AIESEC interns, who learn not only about the Indian culture & traditions but the various cultures represented by the natives of different countries and regions.

AIESEC Jaipur’s promises to

v Pick you up at the airport / bus station.

v Arrange accommodation and assist you about shopping and other necessary facilities.

v Take you to the company at the first day of your traineeship.

v Provide information to you and help you whenever we can, e.g. with the registration, bank a/c,getting local cell number

v Provide activities that familiarize you with Indian culture and lifestyle.

v We will provide you with names and telephone list of the AIESEC members

v As well as information about upcoming activities.

v You will be having a buddy – whom you can contact in case of any

v Assistance or work. Though all of us will always be there for you.

Please note we will help you wherever needed and would be more

than happy to assist you. However we are not your guardians!

What We expect from You

v Please notify us well in advance of your exact arrival date and time (in 24hr format) and with which airline/flight number (or ship or train or bus or on foot) you are coming. Most European airlines arrive in the middle of the night in New Delhi, so please be careful about the date! Taxi will be there to pick you up in Jaipur.

v Initiate opportunities for cultural exchange & discuss your problems with AIESEC members.

v Do your job whole heartedly and to the best of your abilities.

v Fill in the traineeship reports we will give you, to give us feedback.

v Participate in the activities we organize for you.

v Get yourself involved in the work and know more about the organization.

v Make sure you are added on Facebook group for Interns(Ask Aiesec Jaipur to add you group before arrival)
