Announcer:... and now over to the 1 … centre where Harry Spicer is going to tell you about your holiday weather.
Weatherman: Thank you, Jenny. Yes, this is the first really busy holiday 2 … coming up and I’ll begin with some information about the weather in 3 … and Mediterranean. Starting of, though, with England and Wales to give you an idea of the kind of weather those of us who are staying at home are going to get. Well, quite a 4 … day tomorrow with temperatures around 24º mark and... hazy 5 … in most places. On the Continent, rather a 6 … picture. In Scandinavia, Sweden can expect quite a cold day with 7 … of 15º and some quite heavy rain in the east. Norway and Denmark less cold but still 8 … most of the day. In France the high 9 … may give rise to a shower here and there, especially in the 10 … but over most of the country there’ll be 11 … sunshine and temperatures very similar to those in England and Wales, around 25º 12 …. Spain should be warm and 13 … with temperatures up to 30º and a lot of sunshine and a similar picture in Italy, where it may get even 14 … and temperatures around 33º can be expected tomorrow. The very hot weather recently in the eastern 15 … has been hitting the headlines but this seems to be over now and if you’re going to Greece, you can expect some very heavy 16 … in the afternoon and evening: it’s going to be quite a lot 17 … than of late... temperatures round about 25º here tomorrow. Morocco and the rest of southern Mediterranean is going to be extremely hot around 35º but here it may well be quite 18 … during the day with skies not clearing until nightfall. Finally a big contrast in the Alps, where snow has been falling over the mountains in Switzerland and Austria since this morning. Here 19 … 2000 meters it’ll be around freezing most of the day tomorrow and there’ll be more snow, some of it quite heavy. So if you’re headed in that direction, perhaps you’d better take your 20 … clothes. That’s all from me and now back to Jenny.
