Theme: “Enjoy your flight”

The aim:

1)Educational - to widen pupils’ outlook, to enrich learners’knowledge about the travelling by air.

2)developing: To develop pupil’s ability in critical thinking.

3) practical: forming skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking. To develop grammar and vocabulary habits.

Objectives:

1. To develop learners’ reading skills through doing Ex. on pages 127 and writing skills ex.5, page 128.

2. To develop pupils’ vocabulary habits through Ex. 1,2,4,7 on pages 126-130.

3. To improve pupils’ speaking skills through Ex.3 on page 128, 8, 9 on page 130,

discussion in pairs and whole class discussion.

4. To develop listening skills with the help of ex. 6 a on page 129.

Aids: Smart board, blackboard, presentation, tape- recorder, video.

Literature: Textbook: “ English” teacher’s book Ajapova, work book

Introduction Greeting Warm-up activity Checking home task Main part Presentation of the new theme Vocabulary Speaking Conclusion Altynay’s greeting was about 1-2minut. It was in the following order Good morning, pupils! -How are you, today? -Who is on duty today? -What is the date today? -What is the weather like today? -Who is absent? Nazgul could create a foreign-language atmosphere in the class. For warm-up activity Altynayprepared a game `WISPER`. She started explain as this: All of you know this kind of game as a telephone. You will divide into two groups as usually and I will tell one word for one pupil to each group, those will tell others. The last pupil will stand up quickly and tell me the right variant of the word. Winners are who will tell me the right word. Through this game we will see your speed and your understanding the new words and repeating them correctly” There were used a words Shoplifter, Vandalism, Joyriding, Bank robbery, Elephant, Crocodile.   First of all Altynai asked what was their home task for today? Are you ready? Now, let’s check.   When children had mistaken Altynai quickly correct them. Listening to each other’s mistakes children tried not to do any mistakes. She asked from all pupils.     Altynai started new lesson, but before she asked some questions according to new theme. She started ‘today’s our theme is about “Enjoy your flight”.   She read the pronunciations of the new words and asked pupils to repeat after her. She corrected those who had a problem with pronunciation.   She told them to open their book at page 77 ex. 3 and 4. She told that they have to remember the phrases in ex.3.   Altynai could make a conclusion of the lesson and ask all of children about their attitudes toward today’s lesson. Children asked their questions concerning with the new theme. Then teacher evaluated students and gave them home task. Home task was exercise 7,8,9 on page 79-81.
Advantages Disadvantages
Today`s lesson achieved all aims educational, developing and practical. Lesson was interesting for me and for pupils to. There was given more information about essay. Students understand new theme very easy with the help of new technologies which used Altynai in lesson. They asked some questions during the lesson and after lesson too. This means that Altynai achieved what she wants from this lesson. Altynai spend more time for checking home tasks. Also she spoke very quickly, it is not necessary for 6 grade students. But anymore pupils understand. She spoke the word So guys very more, she should speak pupils during the lesson.
