At the Department Store

There are many fine goods in our department store. Let us drop in. It is a three-storey building. On the ground floor¹ you can buy ready-made clothes² for men and women, a nice assortment of un­derwear, shirts, dresses and fabrics (all-wool, silk and cotton). What is there in the clothes department? There are dresses, suits, men's and women's coats and raincoats.

Next comes the counter of knitted goods, socks, stockings, panty­hose, then haberdashery and perfumery. There is a great variety of furs, fur coats, fur caps and fur hats on the second floor. You can also have felt and straw hats. There are very many women at the jewellery counter. You can have silver and golden rings, ear-rings with precious stones, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, chains, lockets and many other fine things.

What's there in the shoe department? There are leather high boots, low boots, shoes on high and low heels and open-toe sandals.

If you want to buy sport goods you should visit the second floor where you can buy training suits, sport shoes, trainers, skiing boots, skates, skis, T-shirts, bathing trunks, sport jerseys and so on.
