Task 1. Do this IELTS Writing task. Try to use some of the modal verbs you have learnt.

Write about the following topic.

In the last ten years, people have been finding they have to move away from a twelve- hour day to a twenty- four hour day. This can only have a negative effect on society, with people becoming less productive and being unable to enjoy a social life.

 

To what extend do you agree with this view?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words. Useful language in the box helps you.
