1. Answer the questions:

3. In pairs, answer the questions.

4. Read the sentences and tick the correct rules.

We use the Present Perfect to talk about:

*news and recent activities

*past actions if we say exactly when they happened.

*past actions if we don’t say exactly when they happened.

5. Look at how words a-d are used in the dialogue in Exercise 2 and match them with their uses 1-4.

9. In pairs, use the ideas below to interview your partner. To write the dialogue.

A: Did you go ever on a blind date?

B: Yes, there was one case. My friend invited me to meet her childhood friend. It was a very interesting case.

A: What happened next?

В: When I met this guy, his name was Kevin, he was cute. We talked a lot and we had a lot in common. We spent the evening well. Then he took me home.

A: What was all over?

В: Since then, we have remained good friends.
