FARES

  1. Normal Fares:

1. Transatlantic/ Transpacific Seasonal and/ or Midweek/ Weekend Fares: The date of departure on each Transatlantic/ Transpacific sector determines the applicable fare.

2. Other Seasonal and/ or Midweek/ Weekend Fares:

a. OW: The date of departure from the point of origin determines the applicable fare.

b. RT: The dates of departure from the point of origin for the outbound journey and from the point of turnaround (fare construction point) for the inbound journey determine the applicable fare.

3. All Year Fares The applicable fare is that in effect at the time of departure from the point of origin

  1. Special Fares:

1. Transatlantic/ Transpacific Seasonal Fares: The date of departure on the outbound Transatlantic/ Transpacific sector determines the applicable fare for the entire journey.

2. Transatlantic/ Transpacific Midweek/ Weekend Fares: The date of departure on each Transatlantic/ Transpacific sector determines the applicable fare.

3. Other Seasonal Fares: The date of departure on the first outbound international sector determines the applicable fare for the entire journey.

4. Within Western Hemisphere Day of Week/ Midweek/ Weekend Fares: The date of the first international flight of each fare sector determines the applicable fare.

5. Other Midweek/Weekend Fares: The dates of departure from the point of origin for the outbound journey and from the point of turnaround (fare construction point) for the inbound journey determine the applicable fare. &

6. Non-Seasonal Fares: The applicable fare is that in effect at the time of departure from the point of origin.

  1. (Applicable only when specifically referred to in a particular fare rules): When fares are expressed as a percentage of a normal fares and more than one level of normal fare exists, the percentage will be applied to the highest normal fare.
