Judicial Power

Judicial power is presented to the Russian Federation by system of courts which includes:

1. Federal courts (the Constitutional Court, Federal courts of the general jurisdiction, Federal arbitration courts)

2. Courts of subjects of federation (Constitutional (Charter) courts and Justices of the Peace).

Judges of the Constitutional Court of Russia are appointed by the Federation Council of Russia on the recommendation of the Russian President
