1. Redundancy – Увольнение – the state of being not or no longer needed or useful:

5. To jump at the chance – Схватиться за шанс - accept (an opportunity or offer) with great eagerness:
* I’d jump at the chance of a career in football
** Zoe jumped at the chance to spend a weekend away from London (…)
6. Superficial – Поверхностный– existing or occurring at or on the surface:
* the building suffered only superficial damage
** Everything about my past life suddenly seemed superficial.
7. To blush with embarrassment– Краснеть от смущения - feel embarrassed or ashamed: [with infinitive]
* he blushed to think of how he’d paraded himself
** (…) and she blushed with embarrassment.
8. To be exhausted - быть истощенным - very tired:
* she returned home, exhausted from work
** In London I was stressed and often mentally exhausted.
9. To be in a good mood – Быть в хорошем настроении - a temporary state of mind or feeling:
* he appeared to be in a very good mood about something
** Here, all I need to put me in a good mood is a hot bath (…)
10. To go back - Вернуться - move from one place to another where you have been earlier:
* he went out to the shops she longs to go back home
** I could never go back to city life now.
