Возвратясь домой, он изложил свои наблюдения и размышления в брошюре “Из американских впечатлений”. Исполненные любви к родине, вдохновенные и негодующие указания фон Эгерта встретили живой отклик в русских сердцах. С трогательным подъёмом патриотического чувства прошло собрание в 3.000 человек разных возрастов и положений в С.‑Петербурге (февраль 1912 года). Затем в Америке свершились ещё события, к нам относящиеся и вновь же подтасованные, конечно, евреями. Не умолчал В. П. фон Эгерт и о них. Его призыв “Надо защищаться!” дышит искренней печалью пред иудейской тиранией и глубоким сожалением о нашем бездействии. Приветствуя мужество В. П. фон Эгерта и как русский благодаря его за своевременность предостережения, автор обосновывался на его свидетельстве в том, что касается фактической стороны разрушения договора, заключённого Россией с Соединёнными Штатами 6/18 декабря 1832 года.

The Director would send a hundred soldiers of fortune to Russia and would have arms smuggled into that land.Loeb had succeeded Senator Penrose on the platform Penrose on the platform. The enthusiasm of the audience before him had already been raised to a high pitch by the United States Senator's glowing words, but Director Lobe's fiery address swept the assemblage into a whirlpool of emotion. “Let us raise the money to send a hundred of soldiers of fortune to Russia”, said the Director. “Let them train our young men and teach them to shoot the oppressors like dogs. As cowardly Russia was made to yield to the little Japs, it will yield to God's chosen people. Take this seed and it will grow. Start the ball rolling throughout the United States and Russia will give way before us. Money will do it”.
