Cell is automatically system. it has the precisely synchronized cycle of ability to live. It is known, that the organic connections react with each other very slowly. Therefore alive cell has developed the special accelerators of reactions as ferments. In a cell they are included in work synchronously with a strict sequence in time and space.

Cell is self-reproduction system. Due to ability to various kinds of divisions a cell can repeat itself in a long number of generations and forms.

Cell is system capable to self-determination. The young cells are usually very similar against each other. However, during development each cell goes certain way and became different. So, in a body of the man are about 250 types of cells, and, each type has the own morphology, functions and assignment.

Cell is self-recovering system. The presence of molecular mechanisms of a reparation of a molecule DNA, and also regeneration various organelles allows a cell with a high degree of reliability to correct various damages.

Cell is energetically open system. Some matters enter into cell. Its molecules take parts in biochemical reactions and freeing energy accumulates within ATP. Then the energy are used in another type of reactions and a part of

At last, the Cell is steady system. For last of 500 millions years a cell actually have not changed. Their functioning is carried out with the help of the pleased limited set unified molecular and morphological structures.

The listed above qualitative features allow considering a cell as elementary morphological and functional biological system.

The appreciable contribution to development of cellular theory (1839) made by physiologist and histologist Teodor Schwann and biologist Matias Schleiden. He showed, that plant’s and the animal’s cells are homologous, end that they have an identical principle of organization. Further famous German Biologist Rudolf Virhow has proclaimed: «Omnis cellula e cellula». that means: the cell arises from a cell by its division only. R.Virhow was the first who introduced the cell theory in medicine.

cell theory. In building of the cell theory the role Teodor Schwann (1839), German physiologist and histologist is doubtless. The appreciable contribution has brought to development cellular theory has also been made by Biologist Matias Schleiden. He showed, that vegetative and the animal cells are homologous, that is have an identical principle of organization. Further famous German Biologist Rudolf Virhow has proclaimed: «Omnis cellula e cellula». that means: the cell arises from a cell by its division.
