Dear Colleagues!

You are invited to participate in the International Research and Practice Conference “Internet, Power and Politics” organized by the Department of Political Science of Faculty of Political Science and Sociology (Kemerovo State University) with the financial support from Russian Humanitarian Science Foundation (project #13-03-14022г).

We welcome senior professors and scientists from higher education institutions, graduate and postgraduate students, law enforcement officials, state and municipal employees.

Areas of interest for this conference include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

· Internet and changes in public and political management

· Internet and "social media revolution;

· Internet and information security issues

The conference will be attended by Russian and foreign political scientists from leading research centers. Distant participation is possible. Accepted papers will be published in the book proceedings. Working languages ​​- Russian, English, German, French, Serbo-Croatian

Please send us your applications and propositions of your articles not later than 30 June, 2013 using e-mail address: [e-mail]. Applications and papers should be sent as different files called by the surname of the participant (in Latin letters) and attached to the e-mail, not in the body of the message. Kindly attach to the report a brief summary (2-3 sentences) and key words in English and fill out the application for participation in the conference which should include the following information: full name, phone number, e-mail, employment, science degree and position, the title of the report.

Requirements:

Ø Length for articles should be approximately five (5) to seven (7) one and a half-spaced typed pages in.doc or.rtf format;

Ø Font - Times New Roman, size - 14, margin – 2,2,2,2.

Ø Footnotes paged with continuous numbering

Ø Include a list of references and cited literature below the text.

Authors of selected papers will receive the possibility to publish them in the proceedings following the international scientific-and practical conference "Internet, power and politics."

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select applications. The application form is attached. Participation in the conference is chargeable to the seconding party. Information on hotel accommodation in Kemerovo will be reported in the additional CFP.
