There are three main halls that host classical, jazz, dance and Chinese and Western opera performances. Saturday brunch concerts (10am, held on the first and third Saturday of the month) are Y30 to Y80. Free tours of the centre are conducted on the first Saturday of the month (1.30pm to 4.30pm).

DÀguĀN Theater Theatre

(Daguan Wutai; Himalayas Center, 1188 Fangdian Rd; 1188 1 Huamu Rd) At the time of writing, this new 1100-seat theatre was due to open in the impressive Himalayas Center, attached to the Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel, staging Chinese opera and other traditional performance arts. The theatre is also due to host films from the Shanghai International Film Festival.
