Description of position
A dynamic hard working person interested in self development and supported by a good employer.
Assisting with several variety of tasks ranging from organisational duties, project assistance and day to day administration. Also some part time teaching of Russian language to a native English person required as needed.
Requirements
· Education - Tertiary education in either Linguistics, Accounting, Engineering, Economics or Business currently studying or recent graduate
· Drivers license with good driving history (Not compulsory but an advantage)
· Languages - English, Russian, Chinese
· intermediate to good level
· Interests - Design, Arts, Sports and Society
· Emails (Microsoft Outlook – min. intermediate)
· Excel (intermediate)
· Word (intermediate) with very good typing skills
· Powerpoint (basic)
· Accounting Data Entry
Key Accountabilities
· Provides executive support and administrative assistance, exercising discretion, initiative and confidentiality to support the achievement of business objectives.
· Schedules and arranges meetings and maintains a diary to contribute to optimal use of the leader’s time.
· Coordinates appointments, meetings, conferences, seminars as well as arrange travel itineraries, accommodation and transport bookings
· Coordinates responses to urgent requests for information, briefings or advice to ensure timely responses.
· Reviews and tracks incoming business correspondence and determines appropriate actions. Follows up on correspondence and task allocations.
· Builds and maintains effective working relationships between the business members and other Agency areas to manage the flow of information.
· Prepares and reviews minutes/files/presentations/reports/budgets as required using electronic based software applications and office equipment.
· Drafts letters and business correspondence for the business team members.
