EASTMAG-2016 FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT

Kirensky Institute of Physics of the Siberian Branch of RAS and Siberian Federal University announce that EASTMAG-2016 (Euro-Asian Symposium “Trends in Magnetism”) will be organized for the active exchange of new ideas and information on the latest results obtained in the field of physics of the magnetic phenomena and for the establishment of direct links between scientists from various countries throughout the world.

The first EASTMAG-2001 was organized by the Institute of Metal Physics of the Ural Division of the Russian Academy of Science (RAS) in Yekaterinburg in 2001. The EASTMAG-2004 was organized by the Kirensky Institute of Physics of the Siberian Branch of RAS and Krasnoyarsk State University in Krasnoyarsk. The third EASTMAG-2007 was held in Kazan, the 4-th EASTMAG-2010 in Yekaterinburg, the 5-th EASTMAG-2013 in Vladivostok.

The EASTMAG-2016 will be held in Krasnoyarsk on August 15–19, 2016. After the symposium the 2 days tour to the Krasnoyarsk sea and along the beautiful Biryusa river near Krasnoyarsk is planned.

Participants 500 €/ 400 € before June 30, 2016

Accompanying persons 150 €

The registration fee covers:

•Transfer from the airport and back

•Admission to all scientific sessions and coffee breaks

•Participant's full set

•Krasnoyarsk city tour and a tour to Stolby Nature Sanctuary

•Welcome party and Symposium dinner

The registration fee does not cover accommodation and 2 days excursion to the Krasnoyarsk sea and Biryusa river.

Students should present a letter from their supervisor confirming their student status.

Registration fee of an accompanying person includes meeting and transportation, welcome reception, Krasnoyarsk city tour and a tour to Stolby Nature Sanctuary envisaged in the Symposium Program.

The Organizers have a preliminary agreement with the Russian Foundation for Basic Research about financial support for participants from Russia. We expect that the registration fee for residents who permanently work in Russia will be €100. The information how to pay the registration fee will be given later.
