The 100-apartment-house

The 100-apartment-house – an eight-storeyed dwelling building, located in Novosibirsk, at Krasny prospect, 16 (Sverdlov Square), is an architectural monument of federal significance.) The Authors of the project are Andrey Kryachkov and his assistant V.S. Maslennikov.

The 100-apartment- house was originally considered as a department building for accommodation of the executive committee employees (executive committee) of the West Siberian region (six-meter servant rooms were even provided in the apartments).

The construction of the house was started in 1934.

At the International Exhibition of Arts and Technology in Paris on December 11, 1937 the project of 100-apartment-house (along with projects Kryachkov's House of Soviets in Irkutsk and Krasnoyarsk) was awarded a 1st degree diploma, a gold medal and the Grand Prix.

The amount of flats in the building is 110, not 100.

А эта оригинальная скульптурная композиция называется «Счастье строится». Главной задумкой авторов является "позвать" счастье в гости.
