Саша: And what can you recommend our TV - viewers, especially young mothers?

Настя: I can say only one thing, the internet and all its new technologies has given our generation a new dimension of interaction with each other. Today we can talk to our friends and relatives being in a far corner of the world. It is a great advantage to my mind. If one uses it moderately it won’t make any harm to you and you baby.

Катя: The next guest of our talk show is Artemy Lebedev, the famous blogger, writer and photographer. Pleasure to meet you, Artemy.

Pleasure to meet you. It’s an honor to be here.

Саша: So, Artemy. What are thoughts on the internet communication? As you can see the majority is dissatisfied with the current state of affairs.

Паша: Well, frankly speaking… I find nothing wrong in internet chatting or the internet as a whole. Lets put all the romanticism and figurative speech aside and accept the obvious – people are making money! I am making money with my blog, a sum way bigger than that I could get working as a columnist at one of the major Moscow papers! Mr. Durov here must be already a billionaire! But look how he advertises his product! Even here! A free ad is the best ad, right? And government officials are obviously getting their slice too. Everyone’s happy if you ask me. But... there will always be someone to complain…

Катя: And what do you think about the children under 13 stumbling upon pornography, violence and bad language then?

Паша: Oh, I see, so now you want to make me a bad guy. Don’t jump to a negative conclusion! I love children. I have one. They are our future, but the internet market is a growing market, and, this is a market for them inherit. Internet is a rather recent media. When I grew up we didn’t have the Internet, but yet, you could find porn on VHS and catch some bad language playing on the playground before your very own house. AND, It was way more violent on the streets back then. Does it follow that I am a bad person? Kids just want to communicate! They want to have fun! So let them! The time will come and they will learn how to produce the CORRECT utterances and express themselves properly. It is inevitable as snow in winter! They will learn how to modify their speech to conform to the conventions of the society, be it a school, a University, an office or a talk show on TV for example. So there’s nothing wrong in entertainment utill it stays an entertainment! And, yeah, if you want to ban the Internet for children, you should also ban the TV. Radio, the whole movie and publishing industry and… your neighbor Petrov too! Well, I think that pretty much covers it.

Катя: A person has to show himself in several spheres of life in order to feel completeness of existence. In creation, in a certain constructive activity for the benefit of others. In spirituality of the personality, which we find. In communication with other people, which enriches and gives feedback: you live, you are recognized. And if we didn't make this communication real, didn't insert emotions or care in someone, we remain face-to-face with the fear of death. Because before death it’s not important, which doctoral theses you’ve written, it’s important who would be near you in order not to be lonely.

Саша: A person is capable to act in other spheres of life where there will be a mass of emotions, and he won't simply remember the computer. Energy is buried in real affairs, real actions and real communications. And the Internet can become the assistant in their search. Use the virtual world as the tool for expansion of interests in real life (got acquainted - met). Nothing will replace to us the luxury of communication, not virtual, but real. Well, that's all.
