Assignment 1. Open the brackets and put the verb in the Present Continuous or in the Present Indefinite:

Assignment 2. Use one verb in the Past Indefinite and one in the Past Continuous in each sentence:

Assignment 3. Rearrange the words in each group from the list to make questions. Then match them to the answers below to make a complete dialogue:

Assignment 4. Replace the italicized words in the sentences to the opposites:

1. The constant price increasing can lead to the company success. 2. We‘d like to exclude facilitating functions to the strategic plan of company development. 3. They were complaining to our demand during the negotiations. 4. We do our best to make the customer’s sale more comfortable and pleasant. 5. Our staff performs a lot of work very day to make our product uncompetitive at the market. 6. We decided to modify our promotional strategy because it is effective. 7. If we want to attract new customers, we have to decrease the quality of our products. 8. Our advertising manager offers to place the information about new product at the back of the newspaper.

Assignment 5. Translate into English:

1. Вони будуть обговорювати проект стратегічного плану нової компанії завтра о третій. 2. Наш шеф багато працює намагаючись втілити свої ідеї в життя. 3. Навколишнє середовище постійно забруднюється підприємствами. 4. Вони ще обговорювали плани доставки товарів з постачальниками, коли замовник зателефонував. 5. Багато прибуткових замовлень робляться нашими клієнтами впродовж багатьох років. 6. Вона сплачувала свої рахунки, коли їй зателефонували з офісу. 7. Відділ збуту збирається розпочати політику спрямовану на розширення асортименту споживчих товарів. 8. Ви аналізували потік ринкових даних ввесь день? – Я все ще працюю над цим. 9. Де головний менеджер? – Він на ділових переговорах у США. Він часто їздить закордон у справах. 10. Товари відвантажувались нашими постачальниками минулого тижня.
