VII. Suppose you are Roger. Explain why you think that there is no truth but make believe in the life of your mother.

VIII. Speak about Julia’s attitude to Roger. Why did Julia feel a relief when Michael came home during her talk with Roger?

IX. Describe Julia’s feelings before the first night. Why did Michael try to keep out of her way at that time?

X. What did Julia’s last meeting with Tom prove? Why did he feel awkwardness? Why was she pleased as punch?
