Linxdatacenter, an International data center and solutions provider headquartered in Amsterdam, recently opened its world-class data center in the Sky-Trade Business District located in St. Petersburg. This will be the second facility to be opened in Russia for the Dutch provider; the first being located in Moscow. Linxdatacenter, which has been serving the Eastern European and Russian markets for over a decade, is strategically positioning itself to meet the demands of the region.

The Tier 3 data center located in St. Petersburg, designed with international standards and eco-technologies to reduce the environmental footprint, is the most advanced and largest of its kind in Russia. At full load, the St. Petersburg facility’s Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) rating is 1.28. The facility uses ‘free cooling’ mechanisms and renewable energy solutions to generate such an impressive PUE rating. To sustain the facility’s 17 million potential customers, the data center has 12 MW of power, which is enough power to supply a city of over 30,000 households on a daily basis. The St. Petersburg data center will mainly provide its customers with colocation services, hosting and managed services, business continuity services, and disaster recovery services. The St. Petersburg facility is already attracting the interest of numerous potential clientele due to its established large and long term contracts coupled with its interconnected networks with the data centers at Moscow, Warsaw, and Tallinn.

Data Center "StoreData" (Moscow)

The data center “StoreData” meets the international reliability standard TIA-942, class Tier III. The total area is 250 square meters and it accommodates 100 telecommunication cabinets and racks. A high quality of services is provided by the own fiber optic communication line to the Moscow switching Center ММТS 9, with direct communication to networks of the following providers: Sinterra, RETN, CenterTelecom, CityTelecom, MSK-IX, Rascom, as well as with an option to enter fiber-optic communication line clients into the building.

The data center “StoreData” is located in the Central Administrative District at 32A, Nizhegorodskaya Ul., Moscow.
