The story, which takes place in England, centers round Jane Eyre. She is an orphan and like all orphans the girl has an unhappy childhood at a boarding school. As a result, she becomes a governess. Her employer is Mr. Rochester, a rich but grim man. He falls in love with Jane and indeed is going to marry her, when it turns out that he already has a wife. Because of her madness, Mr. Rochester keeps her at the top of the house. Jane of course leaves the house. While living in the house of a clergyman and his sisters, she finally discovers that his wife has died in the fire and Mr. Rochester has lost his sight trying to rescue his wife. In the end they get married. So you'll find traditional «happy end», but you won't relax while watching the film. It makes a great impression on viewers. You live the life of the characters, you feel the same feelings.

The film has been made with great skill, and the cast of actors is excellent beyond all doubts. Admittedly, this film based on the novel by Charlotte Bronte, turned out to be a spectacular success.

To sum up everything, I should say I was fascinated by the film. It filled my heart with sweet feelings and left a lasting memory. If you are a real lover of romantic stories you should not miss the chance of seeing it.
