Get acquaintance

First of all let me introduce myself. My name is Assya. I’m sixteen. I was born in Almaty. I live with my parents and my elder sister who is already a student. Therefore she often helps me with my homework. My elder sister is a charming young girl. We get on very well together because she’s very friendly and easy-going and never tries to tell me what to do, though she’s five years older than me.

I am not very tall but rather slim with a straight brown hair, oval face.I'm like my mother, we both have dark hair and dark eyes. As for my character, I think I look like my sister. I am quite sociable and talkative and I like being around people. Actually, I love telling jokes and making my friends smile.

Like my mother, I also admire the flowers. At home we have so many of them. We take care of the flowers together with my mom. I love drawing and painting and when I have time I do it with great pleasure.

I’m a first year student of a specialized English college. I do well at college. My best subjects are History and Literature. I like languages very much and I take a special interest in English.

I’m a keen reader. I like reading books about animals, science-fiction stories and detectives. I like fantastic books because while you are reading these stories you are in magic world and it’s wonderful.
