§ 59.52% of them answered that they have noticed that for modern employees people with technical degree are more valuable than other ones.

§ 69.05% of people answered that humans should not solve the problem.

§ Compared to boys, girls mostly think that the problem should be solved.

§ 36.71% of people answered that robots will be widespread in Kazakhstan after 20-25 years.

Overall the analysis of the data shows that young people are generally aware of the issue of robots’ number rise, however they cannot easily identify solutions to the problem.

6. Conclusion

In response to each of the research questions it is possible to make the following conclusions.

1. To what extent are people aware of the global issue of expansion of the robots?

Majority of young people that were surveyed are aware of the main consequences and reasons of the increasing in number of robots and realize the actuality of the problem. In general 90.48% of respondents acknowledge importance of solving this issue. However the research was conducted on young people in school and colleges and therefore this may not be true for older people. It is not possible to generalise to the whole population.

2. What are the ways of avoiding the drawbacks of an intervention of the automation in the labour market?

The main forms of action that people are considering as solution are:

v Create new professions that only humans can have, therefore robots cannot replace them.

v Reduce the number of artificial intelligence in other words carefully regulate the number of the devices.

3. For what reasons should human beings need to increase the number of labourer robots?

Ø They make everyday life easier.

Ø They can replace blue collar workers, and then do all heavy works instead of humans.

Ø Human beings always must develop technology, create new inventions and develop themselves.

4. What are the negative sides of using AI in the modern world?

Ø By replacing people from their job places, they can increase the unemployment rate for big percentages.

Ø They slow down the human progression, as almost everything will be done by robots, not people. Thus humans might become very lazy and will not have intention to work and develop.

As a result of this research it is possible to conclude that more needs to be done to raise awareness about the issue of rising robots’ quantity, particularly about how to prevent the appearing of the problems that can be caused by the considering issue. From this investigation it is clear that young people are very interested in this topic and try to find out the solution to the problem. Also adults must care for the issue, as in the future the problem can be so topical that it will be very difficult to solve it.

7. Evaluation

The research was generally successful and the main research questions were answered.

The background research was helpful and based on reliable sources with credibility and reasonable knowledge claims – research supported by the International Federation of Robotics Statistical Department is obviously regarded as valid and reliable. Nonetheless, as it is commonly known almost all statistical departments reveal the data that is rounded to very big numbers. For example, if the real data is 345678, they can approximate it for 350000 to make calculations easier. Thus some information such as this one does not provide certain quantity.

Clear conclusions could be made from the questionnaire and the findings applied to the population sampled – young people in intellectual school and colleges, universities. The results can be generalised with some confidence to all young people in Kazakhstan. The large sample from two different education institutes supports this claim and makes the research both representative and reliable. However the conclusions are not generalisable to older adults as they were not included in the sample.

Also it is important to note that there was the problem with online survey, as 14 answers were unfinished, it had been answered only first three questions. According to the time all of them wasted approximately between 00:16-00:37. It van mean two things: first is that young people are not interested in the considering issue, and second is that there were some problems with the questionnaire.

8. Further research

The outcomes of the project suggest a number of further areas of research.

Firstly, more research could be done on the attitudes of older people. Although young people will become the main influences upon society in the future, many countries have an aging population whose views need to be heard.

Secondly, next time it is important to make an online questionnaire that is more reputable than surveymonkey.com in order not to repeat the same mistake.

Thirdly, it is necessary to take an interview from famous people whose profession is directly related to the issue, as it will make strong conclusion about the problem by confirming information from one primary source by other one.

The research outputs have changed my own perspective in some level. To be honest I thought that young people in Semey are not interested in the artificial intelligence and was astonished when found out that they even think that the problem is very actual. This entire means that modern teens are interested in the future of the human beings. Moreover while investigating the information from the Internet I found out manifold types of jobs that are going to disappear and appear in the future. All of the above written means that the modern society cares for their future society. Also if humans continue doing this, then such topical and difficult to solve problems can be prevented easily.
