Exercise 7. Act out the situation.

S1 is Kikki’s friend. Unfortunately he/she couldn’t spend Saturday with her, but he/she knew about some of her plans. So, he/she asks her brother about her day off. The phrases below will help.

S2 is Kikki’s brother. He answers the questions about her day off. Use the diary from the previous exercise.

Phrases: to buy dog food, to take Cosmo to the vet, to meet Nicola, to go to the theatre, to do her homework, to eat at Stanley’s, to visit uncle Peter, to go to the birthday party.

For example:

Did Kikki write a letter to Nicola? – No, she didn’t.

Exercise 8. At the weekend Kikki read an article about Michael Jackson’s hobbies. Read it and in the gaps with the verbs below. Some of the verbs can be used several times. Think of the use of the Past simple.
