2. He does not take them to Himself at their end, but they become the portion of the Enemy whom they have loved. God Himself has not done them any wrong, but it is themselves alone who are against them; it is their own actions which condemn them and throw them to the hell of burning; the wicked justly come to hell through the wickedness of the venomous beast and through the disease of pollution.

3. The Light shall withdraw to its place and ascend and reign in its Kingdom, while the Darkness falls and is taken into the Grave with all its offspring, and they shall be chained with it, binding with them the Darkness, the Enemy, who has lifted himself up against the Light from the beginning. The souls of all the sinners who have been condemned through their deeds are fastened to the Enemy in the Grave – its masculine and feminine; the masculine shall be parted from the feminine and bound in the Lump. This final shall be densified when all forms and images are included in it; the Globe shall sink down by its own weight to the Abyss, the Abyss will also sink down to eternity of eternities; whereas the feminine shall be thrown into the Grave.

4. The Light shall be purified and separated from the Darkness by means of the Great Fire wherein the universe will be dissolved and all things be destroyed, and perish in that violent greedy and poisoned fire which shall burn them in fourteen hundred and sixty eight years.

Chapter 88. The Messenger’s Appeal

1. Not one of all the Messengers has wished to receive his recompense on the earth, but they have spent all their time in suffering, welcoming sorrow and crucifixion in their body so that they might save all the souls from delusion and ascend to this Rest forever more. From the time I came to the world I have had no joy in it because of the Holy Assembly which I have chosen in the Name of my Father. I have freed her from the slavery of the Authorities, and placed the Light-Mind in her; every time I see her suffering and undergoing persecution that afflict her through her Enemy, I shall feel pity for her. I have no other grief, except this for the souls who neither accepted the Hope nor strengthened themselves with this strengthening and this standing up for the Truth; for they shall come out and wander (be reborn) and go off forever into the hell. For this reason only I grieve for them, that they have not accepted repentance or been reconciled with the Right Hand of Peace and the Grace which I have brought out from the Father.

2. Hear my words that I speak to you: Hold yourselves in to the deeds of life, endure the persecutions that come upon you, strengthen yourselves through these Commands that I have given you, so that you may escape from that second death, and avoid this final fettering wherein there is no hope of life, and be saved from the sorry end of the deniers and blasphemers who have seen the Truth with their eyes and yet they have turned away from it. They shall come to this place of punishment wherein there is no day of life, for the Light which illumines shall be hidden from them and they shall not see it again; the air and the wind shall be withdrawn from them, nor shall they get the breath of life in them from this time; the waters and the dews shall be taken away from them, nor shall they taste them any more. Because they have not known the Kindly God, they will writhe and burn in hell.

Chapter 89. None of the Faithful Shall Perish

1.The Messenger of the Light, who comes at the right time, who takes responsibility for the Assembly and the human flesh, and serves as Imam (Arkhegos, Leader, Patriarch) within the Righteousness, chooses the forms of his whole Assembly and frees them, both those of the Elect and those of the Hearers; he dives into the deep oceans of water and pulls them out of the jaws of the deep like pearls. As for those saved, they do not stray again, but they are only drawn to the rebirths in higher realms and toil, afterwards they come to the hands of the Angels; then the Angels make their way with them to the places wherein they are to be refined. For no Hearer ever at all goes on account of his deed to the hells, because of the Seal of Faith and Knowledge which is stamped on his Soul.

2. Only when they guide the man into the Truth, and he accepts the Knowledge and the Faith and begins to fast and prays and does good, at that time these new works which he has done – the fasts, the prayers, the alms he has given to the Saints (Elect) – all these things are a purifier and a redeemer of his first works in every place where they may be found. Now it is the power of that Hearer to release all his deeds from impurity by himself alone while he is in his body. From the first day that he has forsaken the first error in which he used to be, and he has taken the Right Hand of Peace, has been convinced and taken his stand on the stairway of the true Hearership – in the hour he receives this grace and believes this way, these fasts which he has kept ascend and are welcomed into the Light-Ship of the Night out of the heaven and the earth and the trees and the creatures of the flesh, with this first fast and this first prayer, the beginning of all his good deeds.

Chapter 90. The Path of the Redeemed

1. The Souls who come up and discover the holy Assembly, for the sake of the Hope, abandon everything; it is the Reflection that inspires them. They raise themselves up to the Column of Glory, which is the Intellect; they lift themselves up to the Insight, which is the First Man who dwelt in the Ship of the Night; from the Insight they raise themselves up to Thought, which is the Messenger dwelling in the Ship of the Day. And he, the great glorious Thought, brings them into the Mind of all the Aeons of Glory. There the Souls of the Righteous are garlanded and they ascend gloriously on high with the Angels, the Father will not, from that time on, hide from them.

2. So then your Souls must embark on those Ships of Light, singing: “Rejoice O Perfect Man, the holy Path leading up on high, the clear Air, the Mooring-harbour of everyone who trusts in Him! Open to me Your secrets, and take me to Yourself from the affliction! Let me be worthy of my three Gifts: the Likeness or Light-Form which the Elect and the Hearers assume when they bid farewell to the world, Love, and the Holy Spirit!”

Chapter 91. Thanksgiving to Mani

1. Let us bend our knees and raise our hands before our good Father and honor the mighty Savior, for he has revealed everything, he has taught us everything, he has spread them all before us; he has given us knowledge of the Beginning, he has taught us the mysteries of the Middle, together with the Final separating and the destruction of the universes which were prepared for the bodies and the Spirit. Our Father, our Messenger has not let us lack any of them; so long as he was in our midst he gave us a hand, helping us greatly; even on the very day of his departure he left his goods for the orphans and the widows. Crowds have witnessed of him, all the Messengers have spoken of him, the Prophets have preached about him; his fame is spread abroad in all the world, his principle is in all the religions.

2. O Father, truly you who are the Divine Leader of souls, we bless you, the adored of Souls granting vision and commandment. Blessed, blessed are you, you good instructing Lord! Through you we travel together by means of the blessed vision of words of prayer. You, our Father, are the Root of all the wisdoms; through the Will of the Highest Father, O beloved One, you have spread out over us this mighty gift of your Knowledge, you have preached to all of us your Wisdom, you have taught us what used to be, what are, and what shall be; you have brought healing balm to us (rescued us) to heal us from the disease of the Darkness. All the mysteries have been fulfilled in you, our Father, and now, all of your Assemblies are fulfilling your mystery; we, today, give our rose like these fruitful trees, that it may become for us a garland and you may place it upon us.

3. O mighty Power, Wisdom full of Life, first-born great Commander! Master of our life, my Lord Mani, our Lord of Dear Kindness, who out of pity did assume a physical appearance manifesting before us the visible Sign, Perfect Living Word, clothe us in the Robe of Light! O glorious Mani, great Lord and Savior, you are entire Absolution, the Preaching of Life, the Messenger of those on high! The Three Wheels glorify you, the Wind, and the Water, and the Fire, which daily ascend from the Abyss. The Love that died is this Sheep that was chained to the Tree; the Shepherd searching after it is the revealing Wisdom; you do not weary, O Wisdom, you do not give in, O Love!

4. We bless your Light-Twin, Mashikha, the Author of our good, namely, Maran Mani, the Spirit of Truth, who is come out of the Father, an advocate whom Isho has sent, the great Conqueror, our Lord, our Light, who has given his loved ones the victory! You have come in peace, O new Sun of the Souls; we trust in your mercy, for you quickly turn and show pity! You shine, O cheerful Image, in the likeness of the sun, you who are the Leader of the Truth of the same form as the God Zurvan!

5. You have spoken out all the mysteries to us, O Giver of the streams of all revelations, and we give you thanks, our Father, with a great number of thanksgivings and praises because you have spoken to us about everything, both frankly and in a plain language so that we may understand the Truth which you brought to us. You have given us great jars of water from the ever-living fountain of Knowledge, so that we may share it with those thirsty ones who listen to us. This is the only gift we have to satisfy you with, that we confirm ourselves in your Faith and abide in your Commands and agree in your Word which you have spoken to us.

Chapter 92. Total Surrender

1. My Liberator into the praise of the Lovable Lord, holy Mani, come among the three Sons of God! You are an advocate whom I have loved since I was small; your Light shines out in me like the lighted lamp, for you have driven away from me forgetfulness of the Error, you have taught me to bless God and His Lights! O gentle Lord, think of this son of the Mind, the Hearer, the afflicted Soul which has answered you! Come, Lord, look on me, you are my Help in this time of need! O holy Mani, Light-bringer, make peace in me and rescue my Soul from this world of birth and death by means of the complete Seal of my hand and my mouth and my thought!

2. Now forgive me, my offences, let my weeping turn to jubilation, let your most glorious power watch over me until I come out of my body. I am not faithless towards you, do not be harsh towards me. You are the Lord, I am your servant; put away from before you all my sins which I have committed secretly and in open! Let the great Brightness come and cause the Path to be lit before me, let your three Angels bring to me your Garments, your Crowns and your Garlands; let my way be calm, let a door open before me into the Column of Glory by the law of the Judge of Truth, let me cross over in the Ships of Light and rest forever more!

3. You are the Lord, the Authority is in your hand, you have chosen my Image and set it free, you are the root of Good. Your love is with me, my body whose lord I am! I have no one greater than you; you are more honored than my father, I have loved you more than my mother, your friendship was in my heart more than my brothers and relations.

4. Look, my Soul is given into your hand; I have received my whole life from your grace; I have let it drink the milk of your spirit, your scriptures and your mysteries have nourished me; since the start of my life you have sealed me with your Hope and your Name. See, my head is under your burden (I have accepted your yoke); see, my neck lifts up your fruit; see, my eyes look at your beauty; my ears listen to your word; my heart is a throne upon which you are seated. Look, my feet are on the Path of your Truth along with your great host (army); let me belong to the caravan of your host, do not let me be one of its stragglers! Strengthen with your grace, my body and my spirit, for I rely on your Name, do not let me down. The three gates of my body shall be opened by the most glorious Key; look, you have paid the price of my spirit; it is you who are the good Lord of my spirit unto eternity of eternities. From eternity to eternity you are my Lord and my God!

Chapter 93. The Eternal Infinite

1. Let us gather together, my brothers, and understand who is God, the Hidden One who is manifested, the Silent One, who also speaks! Now, who, brothers, is worthy of all glory? It is the Father of Greatness (Abba d’Rabbuta) who is worthy of all glory, the King, the God of Truth, the Exalted One of the Height, He of the bottomless Abyss, He of the unfalling crowns, he of the unfading garlands!

2. O Repose of the Universe, we give you Glory, the Father of Greatness, the Glorious King, the Sun in his Aeons, the mighty Crown-wearer, the Father of all our Race, the God of all the Celestial Beings, the Good Tree that has given no evil fruit, the Father whose sons are many, the Watcher who guards His tower, the sleepless Shepherd, the Helmsman who does not become intoxicated, the King and God of Truth, He of the unfading crown!

3. O Lord, You are Alef, the first, and Ta, the last has come together in You, and so Your beneficent will has been fulfilled. All the Celestial Beings and Rulers, the Light-Deities and the Righteous give praise with many shouts of Holy! Holy, holy, holy to your hymned Sovereignty! Holy, holy, holy to You, Father! Holy, holy, holy to Your chosen Name! Holy, holy, holy, to You Father, holy, holy, holy!

4. You are, You are, You are! Your years shall not cease! Holy, holy, holy to You, Amen, King of the Ages! Amen, Pleasant Ships that will land us at our Haven!

Amen, sweet Dew that gives sweetness to all fruits!

Amen, this unsetting Sun, the Lord of all the Dawning-places!

Amen, Moon filling the measure which yet never wanes!

Amen, the Perfect Day wherein there is nothing of night!

Amen, the crowned King who remains in His Kingdom!

Amen, the holy God who is garlanded (surrounded) by His Aeons!

Amen, this lofty Light who shines forth in His loved ones!

Amen, this mighty Power who gives strength to the Elements!

Amen, the true Wisdom who give teaching to the Souls!

Amen, this Holy Spirit who also gives life to the Spirits!

Amen, this beloved Son who has given himself to death for us!

Amen, the gentle Father who embraces us with His Love!

Amen, the gracious Mother who pours milk on us!

The Father, the Son and Holy Spirit – this is the Perfect Assembly!

Praise to the Holy Spirit, the Son and the Father.

Let us answer to the Amen!

When I utter the Amen, doors of the skies are opened; O psalmist of the Sky, Amen, to whom they make music!
