Health is very important for all people. I think it is necessary to take care of health.

Our health depends on many things: our physical activity, the food we eat, and bad habits.

1 ) Physical activity is a good way to keep fit. There is a proverb:” Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”

It is useful to spend a lot of free time in the open air. We must run and jump, play football and volley-ball. Swimming and running make our body flexible and strong. They are good for our heart, lungs and legs. They improve the blood circulation.

2) It is important to have a balanced diet: food that contains protein, fat and carbohydrates.

There is protein in meat, fish, cheese and milk. It helps our body grow and it gives us energy. Fats give us energy but it’s bad for us. Carbohydrates give us 70%of energy. Bread and cereals contains carbohydrates. There are different vitamins and minerals in fresh fruit and vegetables. They help our body be healthy.

We should eat a lot low-fat food and more fibre. Fat is the cause of disease.

3) Our health depends on our bad habits. Some bad habits are really deadly.

Smoking causes a cough and cancer. It makes teeth yellow and hair and clothes smell.

Drinking alcohol causes a headache, slow reactions and loss of memory. It makes speech unclear. Taking drugs causes blood and brain diseases. It makes skin unhealthy and brain centres sleep.

I think bad habits affect the whole family and people around us. As for me I (don’t) pay a lot of attention to my health. I (don’t) try to eat only low-fat food. But I eat more fruit and vegetables. I (don’t) smoke. I feel great.

high-fibre food пища со множ клетчатки lungs лёгкие
