Summary
"EVS is LIFE" is a training course which will take place on 4-10 June 2013 in Muğla/Turkey. From 11 different organization, 2 person per organization will participate to the training which will let EVS organizations get together. Including trainers and supporting staff, 25 person will attend this project. The target audience of the project are workers and volunteers of the organizations who hold EVS activities, EVS coordinators, mentors and potential EVS candidates. The target of the project are, raising the quality and variety of EVS and founding new strategies for it. We are also intending to getting EVS organizations which are neighbors to Europe with their European colleagues together to make new partnerships and spreading EVS.
English will be project language. The project sessions will be realized with non-formal technics and each participant will actively participate in the project.
Working Methods
Our training course will be non-formal learning. It means that learning is based on your experience, your motivation and your needs. During the exchange Non-formal education methods and methods that assure balance between theory and practice will be used such as presentations, group works, workshops, games, role plays, exercises etc
Who can participate in the project:
§ Have knowledge and/or experience of youth work
§ Motivated to work directly with young people on issues related to culture
§ Be able to attend the full duration of the training course
§ No age limit.
§ Energetic and cheerful, creative!
Transportation
Arrival: 04th of June during day until 04:00 pm.
Departure: 10th of June (You will have only breakfast).
How to reach Muğla?
You should take a flight to Bodrum airport, because it is the nearest airport that we will use for transportation. About transportation from the airport we will inform you after collecting all participants’ flights information.
Muğla:
Muğla is a city in south-western Turkey. It is the center of the district the same name, as well as of Muğla Province, which stretches along Turkey´s Aegean coast. Muğla center is situated inland at an altitude of 660 m and lies at a distance of about 30 km (19 mi) from the nearest seacoast in the Gulf of Gökova to its south-west. Muğla district area neighbors the district areas of Milas, Yatağan and Kavaklıdere to its north by north-west and those of Ula and Köyceğiz, all of whom are depending districts. Muğla is the administrative capital of a province that incorporates internationally well-known and popular tourist resorts such as Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye.
