General Purpose: To persuade

Thesis Statement: After listening to my speech my audience be aware why people fighting in the World and how to prevent it and keep peace in the World.

Attention Getter: A. I was born in 1995 in new independent country and while I was child I think I had everything that I need: toys, entertainments, books, food, home and feeling of safety.

B. My mother was born in 1970 in the same city and in the same maternity hospital as me, but in different country. It was that time when people was limited in the choices. In her childhood she had everything too, but not as much as me; home, food, toys, feeling of safety.

C. My grandmothershe was born at the beginning 30’s. In her childhood she experienced of deportation and she works every single day from sunrise to sunset and after hard work she stayed I the line to get less than 3 oz. of stale rye bread. My grandma completed only 2 grades. She loss her father when she was 5. Because of war.

Thesis: I’m her to persuade you (my audience) to do not repeat this again and try to keep peace in our life.

Connect: Whenmy grandmotherexperienced that it was 40’s during World War ll and that time bigger part of our planet had that kind of life. Now 21 century – century of technology and innovations, but wars didn't stop.

B. We call themselves progressive generation civilized people, but at the same time only in this 15 years more than 1m people died because of violence. Only 1,446,063 Iraqi civilians died during the Iraq war or last year in Ukraine died 5k civilians.

C. Here are areas in which the world lasted a very long time; Sweden, Switzerland, Costa Rica, and Pennsylvania

Transition People against of wars. I believe we are humans are good and we want share good things and feelings. Of course we’re met I would like to say not a bad people I will say not our type of people. And of course we have people who chasing own goals no matter what and no matter how it’s affect to others.

Point ll:I picked to main reason of violence. How we can prevent wars in future?

A. Open mind. How many people on Earth we have so many opinions do we have. Over 7 billion people in the World and over 7 million thoughts. There are more than 5,000 ethnic groups in the world and all of theme have own language, religious, and culture. Everyone have own truth. I don't want to say that we should accept everything. But I see how people try to prove who is better, stronger, more powerful and richer. What kind of religious or nation should dominate?

B. Make own money. To be honest war is huge business especially and now is hard to define where is “bad” and “good” guys. Is business where involves business, social, politic figures and common people.

Transition: What I exactly should recommend you to do?
