5. I’m a student of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and I’m proud of it. KPI gives a lot of opportunities for personal development. The one can be a great scientist and the other can make career as a famous creator. Why? Because you can find here the best lecturers, experienced professors, that will gladly teach you. A huge number of laboratories, classrooms, workshops and exhibition halls will certainly interest you and help in learning. University campus - is a separate charming town, which gave inspiration for many academics and even writers. Architecture of KPI campus impresses with its greatness. It seems, that you have appeared in another time. Atmosphere in here is inexpressible. From the very beginning such outstanding and great people as D.I. Mendeleev, E.O. Paton, I.I. Sikorski, S.P. Korolyov and others were studying and working in KPI. They left an invaluable imprint on the history of science, and they are remembered and well known to this day. So now I can surely say, that KPI is the cradle of science and engineering minds.

9. Good day, dear colleagues. I’ve prepared a short report about the ecological problems in Ukraine and I hope it will be interesting and informative for you. Ukraine has many ecological problems for today and I’m going to tell you about the most topical. Let’s sort them out in order. Poor quality water. As you know, the human body consists of 70% of the water, which play the main role in our health. But almost 75% of Ukrainians drink water from the Dnipro river, the quality of which deteriorates downstream. That’s why the worth quality of water is near the Crimea. As for the cleanest water in Ukraine, it can be tasted in the Poltava region, where almost all the water is taken from underground sources. Air pollution. Atmosphere gets more than 6 mln. tons of pollutants and carbon dioxide every year. Traditionally, the major polluters are industrial enterprises. However, increasing the number of cars on the roads has caused an increase of harmful emissions too. Over the past few years the number of exhaust gases entering the air in the large cities increased by 50-70%. Destruction of forests. Timber exports from Ukraine is 2.5 times higher than imports. Consumer forest management leads to the fact, that forests don’t recover and lose their biological stability. Degradation of forests leads to soil erosion and landslides. Thank you for attention.
