At the end of the 4-year partnership in 2008, several important points are evident:

 

  1. 100% partnership retention: AIESEC- Deloitte Consulting Ltd, have a continuous and evolving partnership which has seen both organizations benefit from each other.
  2. Close relationship: The Advisory experienced from Deloitte Consulting Ltd has been very instrumental over the years in membership development and also in helping AIESEC understand the needs of Deloitte Consulting Ltd and the working world as a whole.
  3. Exchange Experience: All the international interns who have gone on to work with Deloitte Consulting Ltd, have had a fulfilling.
  4. Partnership sustainability: In order for AIESEC and Deloitte Consulting Ltd to have partnership sustainability, it is key to have more than one active participant within the firm, especially decision makers in order to enable easier transition.

 

 

Since the inception of the partnership in 2003, these have been the broad objectives of the partnership:

 

1. Recruit top talent

2. Building the Employer Brand among the university students

3. Long-term source to strengthen the leadership of Deloitte Consulting Ltd

4. Continuous innovation in order to gain a maximum advantage for both organizations.

 

With the above pointers and objectives, AIESEC has been able to build a vision for the partnership for the next three years (2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2010/2011).

 

Till 2011, we see continued investment in Talent.

Increasing the investment and utilization of Talent that AIESEC has to offer, in order for AIESEC to be a “long term source to strengthen the leadership of Deloitte Consulting Ltd as well as for Deloitte Consulting Ltd to be a continuous source of learning for AIESEC”

Under this umbrella we hope to see activities such as:

 

  1. Continued participation in the AIESEC Internship Program, recruiting International Talent
  2. Advisory and Mentorship programs, grooming Talent
  3. Continued participation in Annual Stakeholders Dinner, supporting Talent
  4. Continued support of the AIESEC Talent Management sub-system, supporting Internal Talent Development
  5. Recruiting talent, employing AIESEC members, the top talent, who have completed their AIESEC experiences
  1. Focus for 2009 and 2010

 

With the vision for the partnership, AIESEC in Tanzania has identified certain key activities for the partnership in the year 2009 and 2010 which include:

 

· Deloitte Consulting Ltd recruits a total of 4 interns through the AIESEC Exchange Program

· Deloitte Consulting Ltd becomes the venue sponsor for the Annual Stakeholders Dinner in the year 2009 and 2010

· Deloitte Consulting Ltd supports the Talent Management sub-system of AIESEC in Tanzania for the year 2009 and 2010

· Deloitte Consulting Ltd becomes AIESEC Tanzania’s Official Audit Partner in the year 2010
