These days it goes without saying that stress has become one of the most common problems in the world. I think that the main reason that makes people suffer from stress comes from lack of rest, bad time management, and low salaries. However, I strongly believe that employers can reduce stress at work greatly if they are ready to undertake urgent measures.

First of all, it has become common for many employees to reduce their break time to keep up with all work they have to perform. As a result, more and more workers have a tendency to have little rest. This in turn leads to stress. In my opinion, it would be a good idea for employers to encourage their employees to relax. For example, I have read that in some companies gym facilities or massage therapies have become available for working staff. According to official statistics, those companies that take care of their employees have very productive performance. I strongly believe that such improvements are due to the satisfied employees who are motivated to have enough rest.

Another reason that makes employees suffer from stress is their lack of knowledge on how to manage their time effectively. Consequently, they cannot do the given work in time. For instance, they have problems in managing their time correctly. One way to solve this issue is to stop taking work home. And then the workplace will become a lot happier. The second way for new employees is to take some training from more experienced employees to learn about effective time management. By doing this, they do not only bring benefits for the company as they start work much more effectively, but they also help themselves in eradicating stress from work.

Last but not least, stress at work can also be somehow linked with low salaries. Consequently, people may start looking for other options such as part-time working to earn needed money. In my opinion, employers realize that by underpaying their subordinates they make them work more but not for their companies. That is why employers should pay sufficient salaries in order not to encourage their works to be overworked in two or more places. This would enable working people to focus more on their full-time position.

To sum up, stress at work is hard to avoid. Nevertheless, as long as employers are interested in company’s profitable performance, they should implement measures to help employees reduce stress at work. They can do this by encouraging them to rest, helping employees with managing their time and paying them high salaries.
