My friend.
Hello, my name is Alex. I’m thirteen years old. I have a very good friend, who is also my classmate. His name is Sasha. I think it’s very important to have good friends, as they are a vital part of our life. For me such important person is Sasha. We both live in the same block of flats. I live on the 5th floor and he lives on the 7th. Our parents are also friends. We always visit each other on special occasions. I think me and Sasha get on well because we have almost the same interests. For example, we are both fans of football. We like both watching and playing football. We often play against other schools and the teams from other districts. Sasha is a great goalkeeper. I think he should be taking part in professional football. We also both enjoy playing computer games, so when we get a new game we always share with each other or simply play together. Another mutual interest we have is bowling. As we both like this pastime, our parents sometimes take us to the local bowling club. Opposed to having similar interests we also have some differences, but it doesn’t influence our friendship. For example, I’m quite good at Maths and Physics, whereas Sasha isn’t. So, when we have a difficult homework at these subjects, I always help him out. The subjects I’m bad at are Literature and History, whereas Sasha is really good at them. So, when I need help with these subjects he helps me out. In other words, Sasha is always there for me and I’m glad to have such a reliable and trustworthy friend.
My friend. (Topic 2)
I have a lot of friends, but the best friend of mine is Irina. She has blue eyes, a round face, fair hair and a broad smile. She is short and slim. I have known her for a long time, since our first school years. But we became true friends four years ago.
We have much in common: we like English and psychology, sport and dancing. We are looking at this world in the same way and first estimate a person's mind, their kindness. We don't understand meanness and treachery. For many years we have been sitting at the same desk: Irina and me. But it's only recollections now. On a May morning the last bell rang for us for the last time and in the farewell waltz the last school ball was dancing. Irina chose the profession of psychologist and handed in the application for admittance to the institute. She finished school excellently and she won't have any problems with the admittance, I hope. We shall study at different institutes and, of course, we won't see each other very often. But at weekends I'll come to her place. Irina has wonderful parents. We have a good time together. I think that we shan't stop going to the gym at school and we'll often meet our school friends. I also have a pen-friend. Her name's Vika. She lives in Moscow. Vika is a model. She has an oval face, green eyes, straight nose and full red lips. She is rather tall and slim. She has long, curly brown hair. We spend a lot of time together. I love my friends and I think they are my true friends.
