“Aquabiennale 2014” is the 6^th biennial exhibition of watercolour paintings in Petrozavodsk (Karelia Republic, Russia). Artists from Russia and from all over the world – those for whom watercolour is the professional sphere of interest, the method of comprehension of reality and the personal way of world outlook expressing – are invited to take part in this international project. The aims of the “Aquabiennale” project are to support the art of watercolours, to research its current situation and to promote its further development not only in the Republic of Karelia but also abroad of it, to link artists from different countries and let them know more about each other.

TERMS OF ENTRY

1. Each participant may submit up to 3 watercolour artworks made in the last 3 years (2013-2014).

2. The maximum size of the submitted art-works must be not more than 60x70cm.

3. The deadline for entry is the 10^th of May 2014

4. The registration fee is 600 Rubles or 17 USD. Payment can be made:

· from abroad of Russia - by Western Union to the coordinator of the exhibition – Natalia Egorova, Petrozavodsk;

· from inside of Russia -by Postal Order to the address: City Exhibition Hall, Lenin Avenue 26, Petrozavodsk 185035, Russia

5. The submitted artworks and Entry Forms (completed in block letters n English or Russian and signed by the artist) should be sent to the organizing committee by Post. The address is:

No commercial value. For educational purposes.

▪ You are welcome to send additional information about yourself (CV, copies of publications, artist’s photo, thoughts about water-colour, etc.).

6. The artworks selected by the organizing committee will be exhibited from 13.11.2014 till 14.12.2014 at the City Exhibition Hall (Petrozavodsk, Lenin Avenue 26) and at “Vyhod” media-centre (Petrozavodsk, Karl Marx Avenue 14).

7. Each participant of “Aquabiennale 2014” who has paid the registration fee will get a copy of the catalogue which will be dispatched in December 2014 - February 2015.

8. Organizing committee has a right to use the submitted artworks and materials for promotional purposes connected with the project.

9. Organizing committee is planning to include the full list of participants of the exhibition with their e-mail addresses into the catalogue. If you have no objections to publishing your e-mail address in the catalogue of “Aquabiennale 2014”, please, put your signature in the necessary box of your Entry Form.

AFTER THE EXHIBITION:

After “Aquabiennale 2014» is over (after 12.12.2014) the artworks can be up to the author’s wish:

A. Returned to the author by Post. In this case you should tick box A in the Entry Form.

B. Donated to Petrozavodsk City Exhibition Hall collection. In this case box B should be ticked in the Entry Form.

In case of absence of any notes in the Entry Form (both A and B boxes are not ticked) and no registration fee paid - the artworks will be left in the collection of Petrozavodsk City Exhibition Hall.
