Topic: Suppose that you are required to write a report that includes information from the graphs “Attitudes of high school seniors towards teachers and education by overall grade averages: 2000”

Percent who agreed with the statement:

“only a few of my teachers make clear presentations”

“only a few of my teachers enjoy teaching”

“I am satisfied with my education”

The graph above correlates the attitude of high school seniors to their education and teachers of overall grade averages. In general, the students with high grades reported a high degree of satisfaction with both. In contrast, students with low grades reported a low degree of satisfaction. It is interesting to note that 90 percent of the A students felt that they had received satisfactory education, and that most of their teachers made clear presentations and enjoyed teaching, but only 30 percent of D students reported satisfaction with their education or their teachers. C and D students were almost twice more likely to be critical of their teachers than A and B students.

Although the data does not explain these attitudes, it suggests that the relationships between good students and their teachers is better than between average or below-average students and their teachers.
