B) Work as a class. What tenses are used to express

1. action in progress when another action interrupted it; 2. actions which started in the past and continue up to the present; 3. action which will be finished before a stated future time; 4. actions that we have arranged to do in the near future; 5. action which has happened within a specific time period which is not over at the moment of speaking; 6. actions which happened immediately one after the other in the past; 7. action which happened at an unstated time in the past; 8. changing or developing situations / temporary actions; 9. action which was in progress at a stated time in the past; 10. actions of people who are no longer alive; 11. action which happened before another past action or before a stated time in the past; 12. action which has recently finished and whose result is visible in the present;

II Supply the missing part of the analytic form of the verb.

I. Why…the curtains drawn across the window? Who… drawn them? 2. The foreman is dividing today's work among the teams. Among how many teams is the work …divided? 3. It was impossible to lift the barrel into which so much water … pumped already. 4. Don't move the barrel; it … filled. 5. The letter is... decoded. - Who is... it.? 6. The custom officers are … baggage. It will…examined by the time the train leaves. 7. Postage stamps with gummed backs…invented in 1840. III Use the verb in brackets in the appropriate form.
