FUNCTIONS
1) to state a simple fact in future He’ll return tomorrow.
In “when” questions the Future simple is always used. When will they get married?
2) a succession of actions They will swim in the river, bathe in the sun and eat a lot of fruit.
3) with non-continuous verbs
4) in clauses of time and condition, introduced by the conjunctions: when, while, till, until, before, after, as soon as, if, unless, on condition that the Present Indefinite is used
If I find your number, I’ll call you.
If you call her, give her my regards. (повелительное наклонение в главном приравнивается к
будущему времени)
In object clauses introduced by ‘if’ the Future Indefinite is used.
Ask him if he’ll do it at all. I won’t be able to find out whether he’ll fail his exams or not.
I don’t know, I doubt if/whether she’ll pass her exams

FORMATION: analytic (auxiliary verb (вспомогательный) “ to be " in Future Indefinite+
be + Participle 1) WILL BE DOING
FUNCTIONS:
1) action taking place at the indicated moment in future or during a certain period
The moment can be indicated
- by a time adverb (at 6 o”clock tomorrow, in an hour, from 9 to 11, the whole evening, all day tomorrow)
- by another parallel action (with “ while", “when") She will be cooking talk while I’m
working. I’ll be working when he returns.
2) An action which is expected by the speaker as the result of a normally developing situation
He’ll be meeting us at the station. She says she’ll be seeing you tomorrow.
THE FUTURE PERFECT TENSE

WILL HAVE DONE
The action will be finished before the indicated moment in future
The moment can be indicated
- by a time adverb (by, before, by then, by the time, until, till)
- by another action She will have finished her term paper when you come to check it.
NB: Until/till are used only in negative sentences
She will have finished the report by tomorrow. (not until tomorrow)
She won’t have finished the report until/till tomorrow.
