It would be a grave mistake to reject such a powerful medium that currently allows us to encompass a wide range of listeners, readers and viewer, who might not even be adherents of our delimitation, but are willing to learn the word of God. And if there is bad blood between people on the Internet, I think it’s we, the clergy who must serve as peacemakers and to navigate conflicts. Especially those connected with religion. If our feelings have been hurt, let us deal with it! We’ are not an inquisition to punish people for their words with imprisonment! This won’t solve the problem as violence breeds violence.

Of cause the Internet spawned a new dimension for information sharing. Literary we can name it a new style of life. But as always there is another side of a coin. While some of us are more experienced as users of the Internet – precisely, talking about the aim of it – others feel themselves as they just entered the candy shop. They do not necessary have an aim yet all they have is a hunger, the crave saturation. As some of us can determine it others can nothing but submit. I’m talking about children right now. It hurts me bad when I see how this innocent, purely innocent creatures steadfastly glued to the screen of – who knows – their laptop. Who knows where their subconscious desire leads them to? There is nearly no place for preserving childhood in our world, so why we give children another shovel to bury it?

The Internet is nothing but a tool. Very useful sometimes as a screwdriver or a hammer could be. Adults may do not find the information they yielded, as the screwdriver can crash the screw or the hammer can bend the nail. Yet they know how to operate it, at least after several attempts. And now imagine the child with a hammer without parental supervision. To make this picture more dramatic this curious kid should be put into a room with no place for another plug on the walls. What will happen, I wonder.

The Internet can be extremely useful for different kinds of communities, for business and so on. But it’s the adults world. Children are not allowed unless the basics skills. You wouldn’t throw the baby into the water without special preparation made in advance, would you? You shouldn’t throw you baby into the “Internet”.
