Cabling and Wiring

Читайте также:
  1. This cabling guide highlights the differences between these wiring standards. It also provides insight for the steps involved in creating standard and crossover cables.

5.1 Connection of the cameras to switching nodes is performed with "twisted pair" type 5e category copper-conductor cable screened for outdoor and indoor use. Cabling inside the buildings is performed with suspended trays and on the walls in the corrugated pipe. Switching node No 1 and the server room are interconnected with a copper-conductor cable at the speed of 1 Gb/s. Laying of the cable is performed between the industrial buildings No 1 and No 2 with a steel wire hanger. Under-floor cables are laid in metal pipes, corrugated pipes or conduits. Open cable laying in the rooms is prohibited.

5.2 Switching nodes 2, 3 and 4 are connected to the server room at the speed of 100 Mb/s, using IEEE 802.11n-based Wi-Fi technology. Access points installation is performed outside the buildings. Antennas are mounted with special brackets and pointed towards each other, which creates three independent and non-overlapping wireless bridges.

5.3 The cable and wires shall be laid in compliance with ISO\IEC 11801 "Structured cabling systems" regulations.

5.4 Joint laying of cables and wires, stub and connection lines with a voltage of up to 60 V for circuits with over 60 V in a single cable, sleeve, box or isolated channel is prohibited.

5.5 The distance between the video monitoring system wires and cables laid in parallel with power and light wires should make at least 0.5 meters. If there is a need to lay these wires and cables at the distance under 0.5 m from the power and light wires, induced noise protection shall be provided (laid in metal hose or metal pipe). The distance between unprotected video monitoring system wires and cables and individual light wires and control cables may be reduced to 0.25 m.

The distance from cables and insulated wires laid in an open manner and directly over the elements of the building structures to places of open combustible materials storage (placement) shall not be less than 0.6 m. In case of a cable lines intersection with metal piping, the distance between them must make at least 50 mm. When laid in parallel the distance from cable lines to pipelines must make at least 10 mm.

6. Power and Earthing

6.1 The video monitoring system power supply is provided as follows: the 3.11 camera is connected directly to 220V circuit without additional power supply units, the 3.13 camera is connected with the use of a 12V uninterruptible power supply unit with redundant power supply ensured with a 7Ah battery unit, all the other cameras are powered from PoE Cisco switches.

6.2 All electrical appliances used for the video monitoring system are provided with backup power supply from APC uninterrupted power supply units.

6.3 Power network of 220V, 50Hz, with an estimated power consumption of 3kW per point.

6.4 The earthing of the video monitoring system equipment and devices shall be performed in compliance with the terms of Electrical Installation Regulations (ПУЭ), technical documentation provided by the equipment manufacturers and of this project. All the electrical equipment casings and other installation-related construction shall be earthed by connection to an existing bonding backbone.

6.5 The reliability of electricity supply for all the video-monitoring system equipment refers to consumers of 'category 1' as provided by the State Construction Norm ДБН 2.2-23-2003. The server room is located on the second floor of the engineering building No 2. The switch board of the server room and switch nodes must be provided with circuit breakers to protect the video-monitoring system equipment against short circuit and network overloads. To protect people from electrical shock, each switch board shall foresee protective earthing as provided by the Electrical Installation Regulations.

6.6 In compliance with State Construction Norm ВБН В. 2.5-78.11.01-2003 art.2.5 the security equipment installations are the 1st category installations with reference to the means of power supply provision safety as provided by the Electrical Installation Regulations (ПУЭ).

The 1st category power supply shall be provided by the Customer.

The power consumed by the security system and the power sources are described in the table below:
* - the source location is shown at the design (page 7).
