Symposium program

The symposium program includes:

– plenary and section reports, and also poster reports which can be placed and presented during the symposium days;

– roundtable discussion of actual problems and achievements in the field of computer simulation of structures and buildings;

–giving the benefit of experience of using the modern methods and means of computer simulation for design and analysis of unique buildings and constructions (objects of the Winter Olympic Games of 2014 in Sochi, Zenit stadium in St. Petersburg, high-rise buildings, etc.);

– master classes on using the leading domestic and world developers software products of systems of constructions computer simulation.

Working languages of the symposium – Russian and English.

Main scientific directions

1. Modeling of the life cycles of constructions and buildings at the stages of their installation, loadings, constancy to progressive collapse.

2. Nonlinear models of materials, buildings and constructions at design, optimization and reconstruction.

3. Materials and designs in non-standart physical conditions with difficult influences.

4. Simulation of loadings and impacts on construction and buildings. Aero - and hydro elasticity tasks.

5. Modeling of damageability and destruction of structures. Mathematical models in systems of monitoring of buildings and constructions.

6. Possibilities of modern software in the analysis and design of construction objects. Solvers in tasks of construction mechanics. Problems and prospects.

The meeting of Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences (RAACS) "Software in construction and architecture" will take place during the Symposium.
