Well done. And now we will see what American teenagers like watching on TV. Look at the diagram at page 38. Under the diagram you see different types of TV programs. Please… read them. Do you understand what sitcoms are? What is sitcom? Sitcom is a situation comedy, it is like our «Воронины», «Счастливы вместе».   Now look at ex. 2 and read the example. Who will read the example? Well done. (Now we know what Americans like to watch. And) let’s discuss what you like watching on TV. Look at ex. 3. To say what we like or what we don’t like we use different adjectives. Now look at the table, here you see different adjectives. Practically all of them are formed with the help of suffixes. Please read them in a chain and translate.   These adjectives will help us to speak about what we like and what we don’t like watching. Please look at the example, … read the example. Ok. Do you like news?   Now let’s carry out a survey in our class. It is ex 11 at page 39. Please raise your hand. Who likes sitcoms? Who doesn’t like…? Who hates…? To carry out the survey look at the example in ex 11. When we go somewhere together or when we want for example to watch TV together we make suggestion. suggestion – предложение. to make … - предлагать. Look at ex 5. Here you see questions in the first column. Read them in a chain and translate. Which of them express suggestion? Now please match these sentences with responses (answers) in the 2^nd column. Ok.
