It was Mr. Keating. He wanted to say that when you couldn’t solve the problem, when you hesitate, you just should to look at this problem from another side, like he looked at the class from the desk.

7. At one point in the film a teacher punishes a student corporally. What are your feelings about this 'incident? What kind of punishment should students receive if they break the school regulations?

I think it is an obsolete and wrong way to punish students, especially adults. I think it can humiliate them. To my mind, teachers should talk with students and solve the problem in civilized manner, or to ask parents to talk to their children.

1. Which character in the film do you identify with the most?

With nobody. But I like Neil Perry very much, nevertheless he killed himself. Hi is very handsome, fun and cheerful, he likes his friends, he is very friendly, polite and charming. And of course he is a very good actor.

1. Have you ever been taught by a teacher such as Mr Keating? Describe him/her.

Unfortunately, I have never seen so enthusiastic and single-hearted teacher, but I think, it is wonderful when the teacher could inspire students, to interest them and give them the believe in themselves and their abilities.

1. If you were the headteacher of a school, how would you react to a teacher who wanted to change the rules?

I think that the strict rules are boring, especially for school. School time is a wonderful time for developing different skills, for self-development, for friendship, it is a time to try yourself in different spheres. And, my opinion is that the teachers, who can inspire and interest the students by different interesting methods and forms of lesson is really valuable people. So, I’m absolutely for such actions, within a reasonable of course.
