Software Tools/Build Engineer Intern – 713149

Description

Develop and maintain infrastructure for automated validation processes. Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. Develop new test cases and participate in release preparation steps. Write Test Plans, Test Design Specifications and test reports. Maintain test equipment in the lab and ensuring remote access to team members at other sites.

Qualifications

You should be a full-time student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or similar field.
Additional qualifications include:
* Solid programming skills with C and C++ and experience in writing Windows or Linux applications.
* Experience in software testing, quality assurance and systems validation is required.
* Experience in with Windows* and Linux operating systems is required.
* Experience in scripting with tools such as Perl, Python and Linux and Windows shell scripting.
* Experience in build tools (SCons, CMake, GNU Make, etc)
* Experience with automated and manual test development is required.
* Good English-language verbal communication and writing skills.
