Now, Americans talk about cultural diversity and about accepting and appreciating the customs of immigrants. In what areas of life do you think immigrants should assimilate? In what areas should they retain the customs and lifestyle of their native country? Consider moral outlook, attire, food, marriage customs, childrearing practices, language, and so on.
